Seven facts about me
- I’m a big sap. I will cry over a COMMERCIAL if it is really sentimental! This is often embarrassing, especially now that I am getting older. But once a cry baby always I cry baby I guess.
- I love any kind of food except beef liver, which I hate. I have eaten squirrel, goat, snake, bull nuts–I will try any kind of food once.
- I love Nature. I live in an upstairs apartment surrounded by trees and I often talk to the squirrels and the birds.
- The second and third toes on my feet are grown together. This runs in my family, my grandma’s and my daddy’s toes are both like that. I can’t tell you the number of times, when people see my toes, they say, “I bet you can swim good!” And I can.
- I flipped a 49′ Chevy truck on my way to drill team practice at 5 a.m on a long stretch of country road when I was 16 and broke my pelvis. I laid under that truck for an hour before anyone came along. I thought I was dying. I was in the hospital for 3 months in traction and walked on crutches for 6 months. It was a very character building experience that changed my life and I am grateful for it.
- I believe in Karma. In fact, I KNOW that there is such a thing because I have seen it happen so many times. What goes around truly does come around, both good and bad.
- My grandmother is the person I admire the most. She taught me everything about cooking and how to take care of a family properly. I miss her.
